Apatheia Labs · Policy
Terms of use.
Apatheia Labs is a public research and writing project. The essays, audits, methodology, and research library are published to be read and scrutinised. These terms cover how that published work may be used, and the limits of what it warrants.
What this is. The work on this site is published research and writing. There is nothing to purchase here and no account to create. A private local research environment supports the writing process; it is not a public product and is not governed by these terms.
Reading and citation. You may read, link to, and quote the published work for personal, educational, journalistic, and professional purposes, with attribution to Apatheia Labs and a link to the source. Brief quotation for commentary, criticism, or reporting is welcome. Wholesale republication of an essay, audit, or research article, or reproduction at a scale that substitutes for the original, requires written permission.
Methodology attribution. The Prosoche methodology is published openly so it can be tested and applied. Work that meaningfully applies it should attribute the method to Prosoche v1.0 (Apatheia Labs). Repackaging the methodology under a different name without attribution, or presenting the published findings as original unattributed work, is not permitted.
Good-faith use. The methodology carries explicit commitments — charitable interpretation, symmetric scrutiny, falsifiability. Invoking Prosoche to lend authority to analytical work that abandons those commitments misrepresents the method and the project.
No warranty. The published work is offered as disciplined research, not as professional, legal, or other expert advice. Apatheia Labs makes no warranty that any finding is complete, that applying the methodology produces a particular outcome, or that the work withstands a specific legal or regulatory challenge. Anyone relying on the work remains responsible for their own use of it.
Corrections. The work is meant to hold up under scrutiny. Substantiated corrections are taken seriously; raise them at the contact below and they will be assessed against the evidence.
Governing law.United Kingdom. Disputes are subject to UK jurisdiction unless non-derogable consumer-protection statutes in the reader’s jurisdiction provide otherwise.
