What the record shows
Rebecca Jollotta, a psychiatric nurse practitioner who treated Lindsay Clancy, testified. Jollotta testified she never observed signs of psychosis in Clancy.12 The Globe reports an inside look at Clancy's desperation to improve, and said Clancy "repeatedly attributed her depression symptoms to the medication she was taking."1
Jollotta testified Clancy often took medications for shorter periods than prescribed.1 The Globe reports Jollotta suggested a possible underlying bipolar disorder and "strongly" recommended partial hospitalization or the Women & Infants program.1
The Patriot Ledger reports Jollotta handled Clancy's care for about three weeks in December 2022.3
Contested
Whether Jollotta observed signs of psychosis. The defense argues providers missed it; Jollotta testified she saw none.
Whether Clancy's attribution of symptoms to medication was accurate medical reporting or minimization of underlying illness. Opening-statement theories, not established findings.
Limits
No official transcript claimed. Testimony reported via press coverage.
Postpartum psychosis as a diagnosis in general is not on trial. This defendant's criminal responsibility is.
No verdict. Jury deliberating as of 27 August 2026.

Lindsay Clancy — the record and the campaign
Both sides agree Lindsay Clancy killed her three children. The live dispute is criminal responsibility. A public campaign treated the trial as a cause. An extreme register treated her admission as a frame-up. Friday 28 August ended with no verdict; the jury returns Monday 31 August.

Openings framed the dispute: the prosecution called it planned and rational; the defense called it postpartum psychosis. Patrick Clancy, the first witness, testified she was having one of her best days hours before the killings.
