Dr. Kelly McDonough, an emergency medicine physician at South Shore Hospital, testified. McDonough treated Clancy at South Shore Hospital on 24 January 2023, the night the children died. Rachel Amedee and Meghan Collins, nurses at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, were also called to the stand to testify about Clancy.1
